Dinner Trail Ride
Ages: 12–Adult
(4 hours) Saddle up for an afternoon ride to Willson’s remote campsite, then kick back
while our Willson Wranglers cook a mouthwatering dinner over the campfire. Relax around the fire, and finish
up the evening with a ride back to the barns. A unique way to spend the evening with a group of 6-12 people.
Fees: $50.00 /person
Horse Buddy
Grades: 1-12
(2 hours) Begin with a pet and groom session with your horse. Learn about basic
care and then finish with a riding lesson in the arena. Maximum per session is 22 riders.
Fees: $20.00 /person, $24.00 for 6-9 riders
Horselover
Grades: 3-12
(3 hours) Spend your time at Willson grooming and saddling your horse. Hone your
skills with a riding lesson in the arena, and practice those skills out on the trail for a one hour
ride. Maximum per session is 18 riders.
Fees: $30.00 /person, $36.00 for 6-9 riders
Latigo LadiesAdult Women's Sunday Afternoon Horseback Riding ClubYMCA Camp Willson is offering a great horseback riding fellowship for adult women. All riding abilities and interests are welcomed. Participants can choose to do as much or as little with their equine partner. You can groom and saddle if you like, or we can do this for you. We are here to help you have a relaxing time away from the busy world. A TYPICAL SESSION CAN INCLUDE:
Fall Dates: September 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24, November 1, 2010 Sundays from 2:00 - 4:30
Fees: 5 sessions for $200 or $45 for one time.
Tenderfoot
Ages: 4–Adult
(1 hours) Depending on participant ages, small groups of 6-10 riders will either be led around
the ring by accompanying adult leaders for a "pony ride" or participate in a riding lesson in the arena. Every
Tenderfoot program includes horseback riding games and activities, encouraging riders to increase their comfort level.
Fees: $8.00 /person
Trail Rider
Ages: 7–Adult
(1 hours) Saddle up for a staff-led, walking trail ride around our property. Each ride can
accommodate up to 21 riders.
Fees: $10.00 /person, $12.00 for 6-9 riders
Willson City Slickers
Ages: 12–Adult
Head out and explore the 455 acres of Willson by riding to a primitive campsite and spending the night.
Our Willson Wranglers will spoil you with a cowboy dinner and breakfast over the fire. After a hearty
breakfast, hop back in the saddle for several more hours of riding. We’ll transport all your gear,
help you set up the picket line for your horse, and provide great evening entertainment for your group of 6-12 people.
Fees: $90.00 /person
